Junior Achievement Needs Volunteers For School Year August 17, 2015

Junior Achievement of Northwest Michigan is looking for adults to match with classrooms for the upcoming 2015-16 school year. Civic members, businesspeople, retired teachers and parents are all invited to participate. Junior Achievement provides in-school and after-school programs for students focusing on three content areas: work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy. Junior Achievement provides training and fun lesson plans with all of the materials necessary to teach. Programs range from five one-hour sessions in elementary grades to six one-hour sessions in middle school. More than 4,000 students in nine counties across Northwest Michigan participate with Junior Achievement every school year.
