Blessing of the Animals event will be held Saturday. The event at Redeemer Lutheran Church is free, but donations will be sought for the K-9 Comfort Dog Charity, The Colordoan reported. These trained golden retrievers that interact with people at schools, nursing homes and hospitals in the event of a disaster.
UTAH West Valley City
Six police dogs are getting new bulletproof vests after an Internet campaign raised more than $335,000 for the gear.
